My "Therapy"
When in physical pain or in the midst of an MS exacerbation, I have found the best "therapy" is:
1. Prayerfully keep focused on the eternal perspective
2. Remain diligent in studying the Word of God with a heart of reverance and joy, knowing that my Lord is the only provider of true rest.
3. Fly kites with my children and stomp in rain puddles.
4. Enjoy little things like watching my daughter balance a pillow on her head and big things like listening to my children recite scripture by memory.
5. Continue to embrace the freedom given to me in Christ by conforming to the design set before me to be a woman of God, a wife that honors my husband, a mother that will teach my children the way of true life through Christ in my actions and words... that IS true freedom.

My Husband, My brother in Christ

Sure sounds like the right "perspective" to me. Of course, those of us with gloomy natures will look askance at you, shake our self-righteous heads and proclaim through tight lips, "She just doesn't know how to get serious."
Keep up the good work of getting as close to the savior as you can get!
In Christ

OK, here's a question for another post: How do you prioritize during these times? There are always things that "need" to be done around the house, things that other people want you to do, things your kids think they "need" to do, etc. Personally, I have a tendency to push myself and not admit that I need to slow down when the medical problems come. I think reading scripture is the thing that helps me the most - how do you deal with this challenge?

Hey SheShe... as soon as I have exhausted the fear of God posts, I will write the post you have requested.
As much as my flesh wants to cry out in frustration regarding the immense physical pain my body is in... I am so continually thankfully that the Lord has provided cover under His wings... my true resting place. Keeping my heart fixed on Him is a gift from Him.
