A visit to the neurologist
My neurologist discussed the radiologist's comparison of my MRI from 1999 to the one done a couple of months ago. I do have more lesions.
The most obvious ones are a white mass in my brain stem that could be affecting my breathing ... and a large lesion in the area of my brain that would wreak havok on my memory. I am in remission from the last MS exacerbation.
The exacerbations are more frequent and progressively more severe so I will be starting on Rebif soon. That is an interferon subcantaneous injection that I will inject every 3 days.
You know what... I want you to pray for me. I want to memorize the book of Philippians. Who cares about that white mass. No excuses. To God be all the glory.
(If I could only remember where my post-it notes are... )
Here is an answering machine message I need on my phone...

No sorries when you're in the hands of a perfectly sovereign, righteous and loving God... but thank you for your prayers.
