Monday Madness: Depue no
My boys and I decopauged and antiqued a world map onto one of our dining tables awhile back. It was quite fun and turned out to be very functional and beautiful. We would sit down to eat and play "I Spy." We learned about islands and locations we had never heard of before. Like Christmas Isand and Easter Island. "Depue no" is how they say "see you later" on Easter Island. I will not be blogging this week... so "Depue no" until next week. May the Lord abundantly bless you all.
He who rushes from his bed to his business
and waits not to worship in prayer,
Is as foolish as though he had not
put on his clothes or washed his face,
And is as unwise as though
he dashed into battle without arms or armor.
I am not a big fan of the movie The Passion of Christ. I believe it is not Biblically accurate in many areas. However the following excerpt from the movie is one that I found to be the most accurate to what likely happened to Christ. *WARNING* It will make you weep.
No one deserves God's mercy. But to those who are saved, It is God alone that must receive the glory and to those who perish, blame is upon themselves alone. In the words of Christ, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6) So... what must YOU do to be saved?

Thanks. The reminder is good!
DO you know who sings the song?

Sandy Patti sings it. It's beautiful... makes my eyes drip everytime. Even without the movie clip. (That is what my 3 year old says when I cry... "Momma, your eyes are dripping."... while my 5 year old daughter says they are "leaking.")
