Monday Madness: Just Reminiscing
I grew up watching alot of TV. My dad was committed to raising 3 children on his own from the time I was 6 to the age of 13. I was the youngest of the 3. But he had to work and he did the best he knew how. I can't say that it was easy, but I do have alot of respect for my dad for not giving up. It was especially unheard of back then for a man to take on raising children without a wife. But like I said... he didn't give up.
One of my favorite shows to watch was Schoolhouse Rock. I liked their catchy toons and alot of them have stayed with me even though I am almost 40. It is how I learned about the constitution and memorized the preamble way before it was taught in school.

With the influx of people who seem to hate my blog, it sure is refreshing to get new people who aren't resorting to name calling and false accusations.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. My last big egalitarian "hate-mail fan" told me disdainfully that I will have to answer for every word I write. I'm actually thankful for that and I am also very thankful for my church family that holds me accountable to what I write. Why do you think my heart and fingers tremble every time I hit post? Because I fear God more than man, and way more than egalitarian "hate mail fans"
Thank you for your kind words.
His servant for His glory,
Lisa

I loved the Schoolhouse Rock.
I'm sorry you've been getting hate mail. But I am glad that you have the proper perspective on it. Keep writing.
