Psalm 91:1
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."
God does all things wisely and well... May we know, and love, and uprightly serve the Lord; then no proud enemy, on earth or from hell, shall separate us from his love. Faith ...carries us forward to the end of time; it shows us the Lord, on his throne of judgment; the empire of sin fallen to rise no more.--MH
Now go remember. It's the right thing to do.

Psalm 91 was used in London during the Blitz. I have learnt to remember psalm 91 through a book called TERROR REST by Ed Morris. It offers a 31 say meditation and a 91 sec recitation plan. I need the armour in days like these especially since 7/7.

Nelp,
I am not at all familiar with that author or book. I do know that God is sovereign. "if there is a single event in all of the universe that can occur outside of God's sovereign control then we cannot trust Him." In other words, if God's purpose can be thwarted, we cannot have confidence in Him.
"...what should distinguish the suffering of believers from unbelievers is the confidence that our suffering is under the control of an all-powerful and all-loving God; our suffering has meaning and purpose in God's eternal plan, and He brings or allows into our lives only what is for His glory and our good."
These quotes are from a book called Is God Really in Control by Jerry Bridges. I highly recommend it.
