Tuesday Tips: Take a Non-scientific, Non-fat, Non-sense Quiz
I took a quiz called "Are you Normal?" just for fun and found out that I am not normal. I bet my family and friends are all shocked. Here is what it said:
Your Normalcy Quotient is: 36 out of 100.Do you want to know the main things that made my score so low?Your quiz results make you a Marvelous Maverick
Giddy-up partner. You're a maverick and don't know what the definition of normal is. That's a-okay because you're now part of a fascinating group of desperadoes. Wherever you ride, it's sure to be off the beaten path because it's way more fun to find the path least traveled.
I have 6 children and am a stay-at-home mom. Most people, over 97% according to this quiz, have a paying job with, I think 1.5 kids. Hey! My job pays, just not with riches that can be eaten up by a moth and covered in dust. And how is having 1.5 kids normal?
Here's the quiz if you want to try it: Are you normal?

Here's what I got:
Your Normalcy Quotient is: 30 out of 100.
Your quiz results make you a Marvelous Maverick
HA! I'm an unemployed Canadian Student living in a house in Burbank and I don't even have a TV! HA! I'm actually surprised that I scored so high. When I get back to Canada, I'll have to start living in a smokestack or something to help get my score down.

Interesting. My husband and I are canceling our cable. But we will still have the TV for movies that we get at the library, etc. We originally got it for things like the history channel, but have decided it is not worth it.
As far as getting your score down lower, just get married and have a bunch of children. My friend that has 12 kids... hmmmm.... I wonder what she would score.

Good grief! 20 out of 100 for me. And I thought the Armchair was the most Marvelous Maverick around.

Ha! I got a 34. Now, I really must stop wasting time and go teach my children.

I doubt anyone who actually reads my blog is normal... :-)
But wow! Can anyone genuinely get less than 20?

Well, I took this test twice. The first time I did it, I scored a 45. I included the fact we have a DVD player, a TV, and we live in the suburbs.
I took it again based on what I'd prefer, living in the country, no TV, no DVD player, and I scored a 16, lol.

I goofed.....the first time I took it I scored a 27, and the second time I scored a 22. At least the 22 was better than a 16, hehe.

I wasn't bragging or anything. I then took Lynn's advice, retook the test, and I got a final score of -73,000,000.
WHAT? Well, here's what I put in the "other" category on the test:
I'm an unemployed ex-slave gone slave (bought from one master by another), recently brought back from the dead, adopted into a royal family of several million sibblings, doesn't have a penny to his name but has an infinite inheritance coming, currently living in a dive but soon moving into a house of solid gold, often speaks to an 'invisible' friend that invented Israel (among other things), currently spending tens of thousands of dollars training for a job that will most likely pay ten thousand dollars a year, recently became immortal, regularly eats flesh and drinks blood, believes the earth is 6,000 or so years old, constantly talks about war with spirits (but claims to do so by praying and reading a 2,000 year old religious text...?!?), hopes to eventually get married to God, goal in life is to emmulate an old Jewish carpenter who was born but never conceived...I think that qualifies as "abnormal".
And I was just thinking. I should remove the "I think that qualifies as 'abnormal'." part and replace it with "seeking like minded woman for caring relationsihp."
That would be the most HILARIOUS personal ad ever! I almost want to try it to see what kinda hilarious nutcase would respond...HA!

Armchair--
WHy don't you run that one by Phil Johnson since you get to sit in on his Sunday School classes and your going to Master's now.
Either that, or you can just run it by Challies since he is now writing a book about discernment, though he's a little distracted as of late... he may be able to give you a few tips. :-)

"Off the beaten path"? Okay, this is way too funny-and did I learn anything? I guess-we Christians can have a lighter "attitude" concerning deep theological stuff? Calling Pastor Ed...these bloggers...okay...what was I typing about...?

Armchair Theologian, your post cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh.

Yes, I agree Lynn... Armchair is typically my most creative commenter and often makes me laugh.
And Julie, it is good for CHristians to laugh. It says so in Scripture. I have to throw something light in this blog here and there. :-)

Lisa,
I totally agree-laughter is great for the Christian soul, my problem is I worry too much!! I know.. . I know..."Do not let your heart be troubled". Prayer meditation...hummm...hummm...

So, where should I post it? Equallyyoked.com? Eharmony.com? Maybe I should start up a blog of myself putting CRAZY stuff on dating sites and then blogging the responses. That would be awesome...and a lawsuit WAITING to happen!! HA-HA! Up up, and AWAY!
