My Husband, My brother in Christ

I especially enjoy writing about Biblical Womanhood as well as the application of Biblical theology from the perspective of a woman longing to communicate my love for who God is as revealed in His Word of knowable and applicable truth and NOT who I imagine He is from some sentimental, me-centered perspective that is based on relative, roller-coaster ride of self-sustained religion 'truth'. In other words, I like to encourage others to press on in His truth and His love for His glory.

But then, everything I have written has likely been said a whole lot better by someone else. I definitely have no insight that is deeper than what God has already revealed. Therefore, if you find anything of value here than give God the glory!

Weekend Whatever: Sleepless Night Random Quote meme

I visited Amanda's blog and found this meme:

Go here and look through random quotes until you find 5 that you think reflect who you are or what you believe. I also added the top 5 stupidest quotes I came across.

Also, make sure you hop over to the Girl Talk blog. It is one of my favorites. They have a must-see video that will give you a good chuckle.

The top 5 that I like. (Quotes I liked were a little more challenging to find.)

1. The truth does not change according to our ability to stomach it.

Here are the 5 stupidest quotes. It was hard to choose only 5... there were so many.

5. (Stupidest by far...) I don't know if God exists, but it would be better for His reputation if He didn't.

Glad to be of service on a sleepless night.

By default the page searches "cynical quotes" and "motivational quotes" . . . I had to uncheck both and select other "quote banks" because of all the, as you so rightly point out, stupidity!!

Below is a video testimony about how God saved our marriage after an 18 month separation, 5 years into our marriage. We had 2 children when we separated. We now have 6 children and have been married for... well, OH so much longer!!!... by the grace of our faithful Heavenly Father.
