We brought our adopted twins home on my husbands birthday 2 1/2 years ago. Three months later they turned 3. Six months after we had brought them home, they were officially adopted. ... and today they are turning 5 years old. They are getting new bicycles today. My husband took the day off and is up at the store with them right now letting them pick the bikes out with our older 2 sons.
Anyway... HAPPY BIRTHDAY to these precious gifts from God.

Wish the twins a happy birthday for me, as well. (You know, Austin just turned 5 years old on the 19th of September, so he's the same age....how cool is that?)
Remind me sometime, and I will tell you the story of how Austin came into possession of his bicycle. It's a sweet story that reflects the selfless, caring heart of my oldest son, in that instance manifested in an act of kindness toward his little brother.

Lisa, how fun! Our youngest daughter got a bicycle for her birthday in May, which is two days after mine. We surprised her with it, and while she was riding her smaller bike, my husband set her new one out there with a balloon on it. It took her awhile to see it. Happy Birthday to your twins!
