Argh... or however you "spell" frustration
My Elizabeth Prentiss book has been misplaced. I was all set and very excited to share with you what I gleaned this week from chapter 3, BUT I CANNOT FIND MY BOOK!!! If you have not already, consider making your way over to the Girl Talk post on chapter 3.
I, once again, have a house FULL of six sick children. I would say 'tis the season, but we seem to be getting hit especially hard this time around. My husband and I are a bit under the weather, too, and we are still in the midst of home renovations that will likely continue for another 6 months??? or so.
There are ample opportunities to proclaim the Gospel around here. Please pray for our framer. He experienced a Jehovah's Witness upbringing and said he fell away from it until he started having children... which apparently made him interested in going back. I find JW's especially difficult to share the Gospel with. Our electrician has a very sad childhood story, but appears open to the Gospel.
I am SO thankful for our building manager. He is a solid Christian that loves to proclaim the Gospel. He and his wife are neighbors and she is one of my dearest friends... I have mentioned her before. She is the young lady whose first husband died within 36 hours of being diagnosed with leukemia, and she is one of the young ladies I go prayer walking with.
Continue to pray for my friend who is still in the hospital, as well as her roomie that we shared the Gospel with.
Ah... the Gospel is precious. A treasure not to be hidden, but displayed not only in one's life, but proclaimed with joy and reverence.

My Husband, My brother in Christ

Anyone who thinks home school moms are isolated hasn't met you! For now, the mission field is coming to your house--how cool is that?
Judging by all the posts you've made recently I'm guessing that your home internet connection has been restored and you're no longer "thumb typing" on the Blackberry???? That or you're gonna be hurting for a few days--Ouch!!! Nice to see you posting more frequently lately--I've missed you.

There are plenty of opportunities to proclaim the Gospel... even if there were no construction projects around here. Neighbors, people at Walmart, the eye doctor, the vet... our own home. Everywhere we turn is a mission field. What a privilege to even have these opportunities and to be used to proclaim such a precious treasure is an honor. To HIM be ALL the glory!
My internet connection is back up. I have missed posting. Felt like I was going to *BURST*
