How can I begin to tell you ...
I began prayer walking with a neighbor once a week last year. Two or three months later another neighbor joined us and we began praying twice a week together. When the weather is bad, we meet to pray in each others homes and as we pray, we try to think of each neighbor as well as other personal prayer requests. Another neighbor recently reached out to one of the ladies in our prayer group. She is now going to church for the first time in her life and is showing evidence of genuine salvation. She is going through a very tumultuous and completely unexpected trial. I called her last night and asked if we could come to her home and pray with her this morning. She gladly and tearfully accepted. Her son is too young to leave alone in her house for the purpose of prayer walking, so we met in her dining room. We sat around that table praying, crying... going before the throne of grace together.
When we prayer walk, if a neighbor comes out of their home to go to work, we boldly and sincerely ask how we can pray for them. We have prayed fervently that our neighbors would see Christ in us and now the Lord is allowing us to see the fruit of these prayers.
...To God alone be ALL the glory.

My Husband, My brother in Christ

I really like that idea. Now to find someone to walk with. Though I do pray as I walk the dogs through the neighbourhood and town, just seems more effective to do it with someone else.
