Questions from my daughter
My daughter just asked me these 2 questions: (she is 4 years old)
"Mommy, did you feel God making you?" and "If you jump over a car will it hurt?"
Then she proceeded to tell me the order of which she thinks God formed her. (I typed this as she was talking)
"He made my head first and then my eyes and then my ears and then my body and then he drilled a hole right here (her belly button) where he could put my tummy on. And then he had to pinch this part where he made the hole because he was trying to hold it up so he could make the hole to fit my tummy. He then put my back and legs on, pinched it and made a little hole and pinched it again. Then he got a little circle of my skin for making the color of my skin. And it took him 3 days to make my hair and two day to make my nose. He put my big toe first and then this toe and my other little toe and then the rest of my tiny toes. Then he cut a little piece to fit my skin. It took Him 4 days to make my heart and it was broken and he put the down part on and then the sides, top and that is all of my heart. It took Him 5 days to put my blood and my bones in. He make my bones twisted together a little because they were too big so they could fit and then he did the sides of the bone. And then He ummmmmmmm........ did all of this in your tummy when I was a baby. And then I was born and then God rested and then he made you and then Daddy."
Picture her being matter of fact and using her hands to help explain as she was telling me all of this. I think it was all exhausting for her because when she was done she said, "I am really tired now. I think I am going to go rest."
(She is in her bed... snoring her cute little growly snore... you know, out of the nose that it took God 2 days to make)
