My Husband, My brother in Christ

I especially enjoy writing about Biblical Womanhood as well as the application of Biblical theology from the perspective of a woman longing to communicate my love for who God is as revealed in His Word of knowable and applicable truth and NOT who I imagine He is from some sentimental, me-centered perspective that is based on relative, roller-coaster ride of self-sustained religion 'truth'. In other words, I like to encourage others to press on in His truth and His love for His glory.

But then, everything I have written has likely been said a whole lot better by someone else. I definitely have no insight that is deeper than what God has already revealed. Therefore, if you find anything of value here than give God the glory!

Into Mercy

I just met a young lady today named Amanda Lacewell. I enjoyed meeting and conversing with this gal, having not the faintest idea what an incredible singer she is. She kept looking at my husband Jon as though she recognized him and then she realized that she had seen him at the hospital. Apparently Jon was the anesthesiologist for one of her sons recent surgeries.
I had never heard Amanda sing before so when I popped her CD in I didn't know what to expect. I was impressed. Not just a little bit. But extraordinarily impressed. She has a beautiful voice and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get it. WOW!
I have a strong hunch from conversing with her that she would genuinely give God the glory, for she knows that every moment is created for His purpose and Glory.

I do believe that every moment you spend listening to this young ladies music will be worshipful. The background musicians and vocals are also beautiful. The song selections, EVERY ONE of them are excellent... especially "Come Thou Fount." (My 2 sons guitar teacher is the lead acoustic guitarist in that song and he does a phenomenal job... not that I'm biased. )

Below is a video testimony about how God saved our marriage after an 18 month separation, 5 years into our marriage. We had 2 children when we separated. We now have 6 children and have been married for... well, OH so much longer!!!... by the grace of our faithful Heavenly Father.
