Things children say...
For an assessment given to my 5 year old daughter at her well-child check-up, she answered the following questions (these are just a few):
What is a fence? It is to let the dogs run around and not away
What is a house? a place to do laundry (apparently we do a lot of laundry around here)
What is a lake? a place to throw rocks (Whenever we would go to a lake, we would try to skip rocks across the surface)

Oh, those are so cute!
I used to do kindergarten screening and some of the answers were so cute!
My own son, when asked to complete the sentence, "Coffee is hot and milk is. . . ." answered warm. We weren't supposed to prompt them, but my friend was screening him and she reminded him that milk was in the refrigerator so it was. . . Jake promptly said, well, it's cold when you take it out of the refrigerator, but it's warm by the time Mom calls us to the table!

You just never know what the answers will be...
When our 4-year-old son was asked when he was saved, he rocked back on his heels with his hands stuffed into his overall pockets and responded, Oh, about 2000 years ago but I just found about it recently!
