My Husband, My brother in Christ

I especially enjoy writing about Biblical Womanhood as well as the application of Biblical theology from the perspective of a woman longing to communicate my love for who God is as revealed in His Word of knowable and applicable truth and NOT who I imagine He is from some sentimental, me-centered perspective that is based on relative, roller-coaster ride of self-sustained religion 'truth'. In other words, I like to encourage others to press on in His truth and His love for His glory.

But then, everything I have written has likely been said a whole lot better by someone else. I definitely have no insight that is deeper than what God has already revealed. Therefore, if you find anything of value here than give God the glory!

Building Upon the Legacy

Legacy Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Taylor is the church that my family has planted our feet. Most of you know that we attended another reformed church when we first moved to the NW Arkansas area. We still deeply love the people there, but believe that Legacy is where we are called to serve the Lord. What is really sweet is that there is ministry fellowship between these two churches as they reach out together to a local nursing home.
We do not want to be church hoppers. I liken that mentality to a recurring nightmare. Making the decision to change churches was not one we jumped into and took lightly. It was gut-wrenching painful. But, we are still in fellowship with Hope CBC and it is truly a joy to hear what is going on over there. We were blessed to have several of them stop in the other night. Though it was a short visit, it was a joy to get to see and hug them. ...and I love that there is still a strong link there.

Thank you Elizabeth. You and your family are a HUGE blessing to us. We had SOOOOO much fun having your "full-quiver" along with you and your husband over for dinner. We will have to do that again soon, my dear friend.

Below is a video testimony about how God saved our marriage after an 18 month separation, 5 years into our marriage. We had 2 children when we separated. We now have 6 children and have been married for... well, OH so much longer!!!... by the grace of our faithful Heavenly Father.
