My Husband, My brother in Christ

I especially enjoy writing about Biblical Womanhood as well as the application of Biblical theology from the perspective of a woman longing to communicate my love for who God is as revealed in His Word of knowable and applicable truth and NOT who I imagine He is from some sentimental, me-centered perspective that is based on relative, roller-coaster ride of self-sustained religion 'truth'. In other words, I like to encourage others to press on in His truth and His love for His glory.

But then, everything I have written has likely been said a whole lot better by someone else. I definitely have no insight that is deeper than what God has already revealed. Therefore, if you find anything of value here than give God the glory!

Oh, my! That was so much fun to watch! Was that you stuffing your face on the first clip of Long Live the King? Loved your cameo, if that was you! lol

They are quite good, and it looked like they were having a lot of fun. :)

I was hoping that no one would notice that... :-D

They have only been a band for 2 months and hearing them live, instead of outdoors on a cheap camera, is WAY better. They did have a blast and several people asked if they would play at various places this coming summer.

In the midst of the performance, the wind kept blowing the music sheets, Josh started "Holy is the Lord" in drop "D" because he had forgotten to change it back after doing a Switchfoot song, and then the electric drums literally began collapsing... I think there is a pic showing me holding up the drumset frame. Their instructor told them that NO MATTER WHAT, keep playing... and they did. WOW!

You can probably also see me fixing their music sheets and running the mixer. When we got home, I took a nap. :-)

Below is a video testimony about how God saved our marriage after an 18 month separation, 5 years into our marriage. We had 2 children when we separated. We now have 6 children and have been married for... well, OH so much longer!!!... by the grace of our faithful Heavenly Father.
