Sunday Lunch: What's For Dessert? UPDATE
Go HERE to get the recipe for Glazed Key Lime Shortbread Cookies. This is not what I am making for dessert this time. I know. That's mean. You'll have to wait. What I am making for Sunday dessert is really easy because this weekend is REALLY busy.
Pistachio Pudding Pie
2 small boxes of pistachio pudding
2 Cups milk (at least 2%)
1 LARGE tub of cool whip
1 LARGE graham cracker crust pie shell (pre-made)
Directions: Mix pudding and milk together until thickened. (I know the directions on the pudding box says to add 2 cups of milk per box, but only do 1 cup per box). Fold in the entire LARGE tub of cool whip. Poor into pie shell and freeze. You will have leftovers in the bowl. However, eat what you can before the kids find out or they will scarf it all down in a blink. YUM!
UPDATE: This is not a good dessert to bring to a potluck. It tastes best frozen and is best served at a home party. Learned the hard way. :-D
