My Husband, My brother in Christ

I especially enjoy writing about Biblical Womanhood as well as the application of Biblical theology from the perspective of a woman longing to communicate my love for who God is as revealed in His Word of knowable and applicable truth and NOT who I imagine He is from some sentimental, me-centered perspective that is based on relative, roller-coaster ride of self-sustained religion 'truth'. In other words, I like to encourage others to press on in His truth and His love for His glory.

But then, everything I have written has likely been said a whole lot better by someone else. I definitely have no insight that is deeper than what God has already revealed. Therefore, if you find anything of value here than give God the glory!

So many thoughts... so little time

I have often thought of what I would like to write about on this here blog "outlet", but have found in this new season in my life that time does not allow for this indulgence.

It has been like losing an old friend... not having time to write about the many things the Lord is teaching me in this season of life.

I pray the Lord allows me to write again soon. Not because I think I have something to say that you MUST "hear". No. But because this meager blog of mine was a way for me to boast in what the Lord is accomplishing in this marred vessel, made whole through the blood of Christ, my King, my Lord. This seems so similar to the time in my life when I had to stop speaking for Women's Ministries.

But then, God's grace is truly sufficient. He provides all that we need in these seasons of life and I look forward to what He has in store. I have sooo much to learn and it is vastly more important that I spend my time in the Word of God, than writing.

May the Lord bless you all abundantly.

Below is a video testimony about how God saved our marriage after an 18 month separation, 5 years into our marriage. We had 2 children when we separated. We now have 6 children and have been married for... well, OH so much longer!!!... by the grace of our faithful Heavenly Father.
