Obama's Change... A Serious Deception
Even in my personal attempts to understand why a few people in my life are voting for Obama, I have found a very disturbing, but sadly not surprising, lack of knowledge. It seems that so many are drawn to this man, not because of his policies and not because of what he stands for, but because he is a great speaker and they have bought into a serious deception labeled change.
I love what this young lady has to say:
...a year ago neither Obama or McCain were expected to win the primaries. But these are the two candidates that God has allowed to come forward. They are not the candidates I would have chosen or allowed to this point, but I am not God.So I have decided to prayerfully chose which of these two candidates is going to stand up for Life and to allow for more liberties to continue. There is no doubt for me that this is McCain by far.
On a last note, I would encourage you not to abstain from voting. My sons and I have been learning about consent lately. Our Founding Fathers believed that if they knew of a wrong and did nothing to stop that wrong, then they were giving their tacit consent and taking part in that wrong. If you can vote for McCain for no other reason, I would encourage you to check out his pro-life record and prayerfully consider voting for him to stand up for the unborn.
I would encourage us all to get down on our knees (or stay down if you are already there :-) and continue to cry out to God for mercy for our nation and for wisdom to exercise this precious gift of a vote that He has given us!Humbly,
Lindsay
